You know, I figured that by me holding onto your injured ass all friggin' year you would at least do one positive thing down the stretch, but nope...you waited until the second last day of the year to totally fuck my whole season up. Let's recap...you came on to do the ONLY good thing the Sox would have done all year; force the Yankees into a must win today and maybe have them in the wildcard game. Could you get the job done and reward the faith I had in you, when nobody else wanted you and people made fun of me for keeping you? HELLS NO! I watched my dreams of a fantasy title go down the toilet on the unreliability of your noodle arm. What’s worse is that you sucked so badly that there is no way you are coming on today to try and redeem yourself and get back that save you cost me last night. You have forced me to now focus on stolen bases and pick up every guy who may potentially steal me one fucking base and tie this up. Oh ya, that won't help either because you fucked up my WHIP with your shitty performance. I hope the Red Sox release you and nobody picks you up, mostly because of spite, but also to save other saps from drafting you in the hopes you may actually have something left, which clearly you don't. This second rant was inspired by Ken Rosenthal's ridiculous suggestion sthat winning the Triple Crown does not assure Miggy the MVP...
Trust me, I'd be making that idiotic face too if I had said something so ignorant...
So let me get this straight; the people who award gold gloves to players based more so on their offense than defence are NOW saying that defence is of the utmost importance in the MVP race? Guys, come on, pick a story and stick to it! Miggy will win the Triple Crown and if he is then not the MVP baseball is a joke. I'm looking at the stat lines on the side of the page here and don’t see Trout in the top 5 of most of them. Cabby is 1st or second in all major categories (SB is not a major category) and the other categories Trout leads, he is in second (Runs), trails Tout by .003 in OBP despite Trout's superior speed, has almost 50 more RBI's (so totals runs produced is 204 Cabrera, 182 Trout), yet this is still a debate? Get it together writers and come up with a consistent measure or criteria other than this "we all love Mike Trout so let’s reward the second best year with the MVP because he is squeaky clean and doesn't have Miggy's off field baggage". You should all be ashamed of yourselves for disgracing such a great game.
